Type of Vibe???

Kids,

I think some people are confused with a vibe.

A tire vibe. will be all the time, but change with speed.

A tranny vibe. will be there and when you take it out of OD, and it stops it should be the tranny.

A rearend vibe. if you drive and take it out of OD, and no change, more likely the rearend.

If you have a steering wheel nibble, its either an old build F-150 or if it's a new build with the new steering box, then it is for sure front tires, rims, rotors...

These trucks will have some vibration in the steering wheel due to the truck, characteristics of the truck, all-terrain tires, or whatever. This type of vibration would be noticable in the same speeds at a problem vibe. This is why it is hard for the engineers to diagnose the problems...

They couldn't fix mine, so I got a new one. The new one has what I would call normal vibration in the wheel for a truck like that. The old one would oscillate and vummmmppp, vummmppp like flat spotted tires. Also when you let off the gas on the old one it rumbled through the truck like it was going to come apart... Something totally out of balance somewhere on the truck!!!
