Hey all - I'm looking a short antenna... about 1 or 2 inches. I've searched around the site, but have only found ones as short as 8in. I'm hoping to get one that's all white to match my truck. Anyone have any ideas?

 

Trim your current antenna. Take a pair of heavy duty tin snips/wire cutters and cut your antenna down. I trimmed mine down a few inches so it wouldn't hit the garage door and it took a couple minutes of time and didn't cost a dime.

 

Whats the point of even having one?

Just plain DUMB IMO.

 

I wish I didn't have one...the XM antenna is all I need! But then again I wouldn't want one that short either.

Has anybody put a power antenna on yet???

 

why dont you find out the thread size of the antenna and than put a black screw in its place

 

It doesn't really bother me that my truck has a smaller antena then the guy next to me. I'm not insecure like that.

If you don't have a suggestion, it would help a lot if you didn't post.

I was hoping that there was some sort of amplified antena solution that would let me install a 1-2.5 inch antena in place of the stock one.

I don't want to cut it down, and I don't need it to remind me how tall the truck is.

I'm still dreaming...
