Drop In Bedliner Problems...
Guys, don't laugh...
My first F-150 had a LINE-X liner (hands down best liner of any kind) and it was $390 with a $20 discount.
For my 2nd truck (2 year 19,500 mile/year lease) I was going to have one tossed into the lease... Well to buy it outright and own it at the end of the lease, it would cost only $43 bucks more. This is what I did!
Anyway, today I got my 2nd Ford bedliner installed and the same thing happened, it tore in the front right hand side. It's really weak in this area. They are going to order another one from Ford (hopefully from a different batch!!!
QUESTION: HAS ANYONE EVER SEEN ANYTHING LIKE THIS???
Funny thing is I finally get rid of my Lemon F-150 and I have to deal with this. Although a little tear in a liner is not too hard to take (they will take care of it) but it would be nice just to drive this truck and change the oil for the next too years!!! I mean if water and sand/dirt get under the liner its like not having one at all!!!

In my last truck a saw a few spots that broke in my crappy GM liner. Two different corners just ripped, kind of like ahole in leather, with the flap still attached. I tried to use epoxy to stick it back together but made a mess and didn't work too well.
ROCK 2
Hey Rock, sounds like a plan, I will get down there the first part of DECEMBER...
I was there 2 or 3 weeks ago at KY speedway in Sparta for the Ford ride and drive (Mustang, Freestyle and 500) thing. It was pretty cool, but rained like cats and dogs. I did the one in Detroit, MI in August, so I knew a little about how the car felt. Clutch, suspension and steering, controls or whatever. So I gave it hell and scared the pro driver with me... It's a fun car!!! But I love my truck...
Best part, we warmed up at the T-Bar across the street called Racers!!!!
(I KNOW THIS ISN'T THE BULL-SH*T FORUM) BUT IF I AM TALKING TO YOU, I CAN'T GET IN TOO MUCH TROUBLE RIGHT??? HEH HEH!!!

No worries talking to me. You all know I'm just another guy on here with the same hobby/passion as you all have... trucks.
I had an invite to Sparta but ended up getting screwed by work. I wish I could've made it out to at least see the GT500. I assumed that they'd probably cancel the test drive but, I was wrong. But, from what I heard, it wasn't what they made it out to be in that you drove a slalom course rather than 'around the track' as one would have assumed.
Tis life I suppose...

And now back to your regularly scheduled thread about bedliners...
I've had a Ford bedliner since conception of my 2001... to date, it's been flawless and I still love it.

Nothing...
The truck is 2 days old. I have never put anything in there...
The problem is when it is installed, it tears. I think they got a bad shipment? Is that possible???
