Question tranny problem?

I've got a 2004 fx4 with about 9.000 miles on it. More often than not, when I'm driving around and usually from first to second gear I can literally feel and hear a big CLANK as the tranny slams into gear.

Also, while I'm driving and lets say going to make a right turn and i let off the gas going into the turn and put my foot back on the gas going out of the turn , seems like there is a little bit of hesitation then the CLANK comes in place and it feels like the tranny catches up.

Has anybody else experienced this? Is this normal? WOuld a superturner 1714 fix this or should I have the dealer look at it first?

I've been noticing it more lately with the rainy weather. Could it be the Limited Slip?

Thanks

I know you might hear some chatterin from the LS in a turn but if you hear a clank going in a straight line then you should take it to the dealer. Gotta love the warranty.

Certainly doesn't sound 'normal' to me. I agree with poor; stealership might be in order.

Thanks guys. I just dread going to my dealership because they are a bunch of A**holes and try EVERYTHING under their power to avoid fixing anything.

Sounds like what was happening to my 01 F150. Dealership could not duplicate and when I drove I couldnt get it to do it either. Finally gave up and traded in for my 04 before the warranty ran out. Good luck to you and I hope they find your problem.
