Tire size on 04 4x4 XLT w/stock rim

Hi I'm sure that this has been asked before but can someone tell me if 295/70/17's (Nittos) will fit ok on stock rim. This is on a non-lifted 4x4.

A screwdriver. Well, something with a wide flat blade strong enough to pry the cap off.

You should consider getting different rims too. I had a set of 18 inch Lariat rims on my XLT and they make the truck look 100% better!!! And on Friday I got a set of American Eagle 187'rims and now it looks a 1000% better!!!

wait now I am all confused....

I thought it was Lariot, sxt and what does fx4 stand for again?

Its funny for the guys that have been here since the new 04 came out because there is a constant wave of the same questions that come in. I remember Tuff saying a while ago that thats why he doesnt post in the 04 forum much anymore.
We need to compile a thread with the most common questions in it and make it a sticky, just to get it out of the way.
Subjects like "The Vibe", "Whats the biggest tire...", "Whats the difference between lifts...", "Daystar or...."

No hard feelings to the new guys, we were all there once. Its just funny to see the same things over and over...I think it adds to Ds attitude.
