2004 / 2005 Differences in Config.

I noticed while configuring (for the heck of it) a 2005 model exactly like my 2004, there are a few things that are now optional on the Lariat instead of being standard like it was on the 2004 model.

The only 2 things I noticed on the Lariat that changed was...
- Homelink
- Power Adjustable Pedals

Those are both optional now, not standard like they were on mine. The total cost was $200 more than my 2004. Not too much more, but it's nice to have those things included as standard.

yeah after eating the cost of the 04's to get them launched, Ford turned it over to the bean counters for 05 and they have been whacking away at the stuff that comes standard. I hear that fog lights are not even standard on a 4x4 XLT anymore and neither is the overhead rail system. Stupid beancounters.

Yep, I paid extra for the fog lamps on my '05 XLT 4x4...but I was HAPPY not to have that ugly overhead rack system. It still has the sunglasses holder up there, that's enough for me.
