More Warranty Issues

I'm getting a squeeking sound from what seems to be the back slider window. Sounds like the rubber gasket isn't set right or something and it's bugging the crap out of me. Only thing is, It only does it for a few hours then stops and comes back. totally random.

I don't want to take it in for them to say they can't find the issue and do nothing to fix it.

Any ideas? Please help. Thanks.

There is a TSB for the noisy power sliding window: TSB number is 0426 dated Feb 9, 2004.

It's not the power slider but it still squeeks like crazy. I guess I'll just give them a call. Thanks guys.

Well I just got off the phone with the Dealer. They said that they have to "hear" it before they will do anything with it. Problem is, by the time I drive there it usually stops.

I'm about 100% sure it's the back window because I even sat in the back, had my girl drive around while it was doing it and there is no other place it's coming from except from that spot.

Check this TSB TSB 04-2-6 which addresses the rear window rattles.

I had the rattle in the rear window. Took it to the dealer, had the TSB work done, still makes noise....I hate the dealers.

I took mine in for the TSB rattle back in March, and after 2 attempts, the rattle stopped. It has however started back up again, most noticably during any rough roads. It does not sound like a squeak though, it is much more of a rattling noise that I had in mine, and have again now.

2004 F-150 supercab, rear slider, not power. I have the same squeak, the dealer has had it 2 different times, and I am taking it back in this week. I had the service manager ride with me, he also heard it. I hope the can get it right this time. Does anyone have a link to that TSB???
