When is it safe?
When is it safe?
My truck is less than a week old, im seriously considering a rancho and 35's in about a month. In yalls opinion at what point will I have a good idea that my truck will not have a vibe problem or anything else serious like others are experiencing. I dont want to void my warranty. then a week later have pay ford to experiement with my truck on getting a vibration out.
Generally speaking, if your truck is driving OK now, chances are you should'nt have any problems.
Most of the people experiencing vibe issues have had them almost since getting their truck(usually within the first 2000 miles or so).
Don't get paranoid about vibe. Enjoy your truck and mod it out!! That's why you have it, to have fun.
If your doing a suspension lift, (and I suspect you are to get those 35" meats under there!) it requires reengineering the suspension anyway with a kit. So anything that would have contributed to vibration will be replaced anyway.
Again get to work on your ride and have some fun!!

I got another one, leveling + 3" body vs. rancho susp. besides cost. Is one better than the other. As for as the ride and effect on vehicle go.
BTW I have an appt tomarrow for my first mod. Flowmaster series 40, im thinking 3 inch tips angled out each corner.

It always comes down to cost in the end. The Rancho Susp. is designed for offroad fun so it's a beefier kit. The trade off is a harder everyday ride. The 3 inch body lift kit(I assume that's what you meant) is just that, it lifts the body only.
I would do the susp. lift because you end up with a more useable truck. Otherwise just lifting the body makes it look higher but your ground clearance stays the same.
If you plan on having fun offroad you will need the extra clearance of a suspension lift.
