Question Tires, what to do?

I have a FX4 am having a "Daystar" 2 1/2" lift installed, the question is which tires? I have 18" rims am thinking of the BFG "All Terrain KO", 285-65-r18. Is there another option I should consider. IE "Toyo, or Nitto" maybe a bigger size???

I really don't want to change rims, but do I have to?? which kind?? Help

thanks
kurt

If you don't want to change wheels, the 285's would be a great choice.

I've got an XLT 4x4 that I've put BFG 285/75 R17 mud terrains on and have no problems with clearance.

I didn't know they made a 285/75/17. I thought it was 285/70/17.
