You won't hit the control arm with that offset.

Is your front end lifted? Do you already have the wheels? Is the wheel sticking out that much the look you want? If not then I would look to get something with around a +25 offset. Then you wouldn't have to worry about hitting the fender and sandblasting the side of your truck from the tires throwing up stuff. I could fit the 305 on mine but that offset you're talking about has me concerned. I think it will be real close when turning, if not hitting.

If your front's not lifted, no way. If it is and you have seen people running these, you may be fine. But it's gonna be close. I went with something I knew would work and would have plenty of room.

Here's how much his tires stick out. Is this what you want?

You need to ask him how close his 33's are to hitting the wheel well. He has a 2" lift I believe.

I'm telling you, you don't want that -8 offset.

yea i dont mind about the sticking out. i actually like that look. but then again his wheels are +2 offset would the -8 offset stick out more or less? but thats not what i care about i would like to know if i could go with a BFG 285/70/17 or stretch it to a 305/70/17 or 315/70/17. 3" lift up front and back.

The -8 would stick out more which would bring the outside edge of the tire closer to hitting the back of the wheel well when turning. If you want those wheels and you have the 3" lift, go to a tire store that will mount the size you want and see if it clears. If not, have them try another.
