Ravin exhaust?

I think I've decided on going with a ravin z33 or z55, but I cant seem to find anyone who sells them. I want a shop to do duals angled out the back but cant find a dealer for the muffs. Any stores on the web? thanks

Thanks, I'll look into that. Did you like the Ravin?

I have the Ravin Z33 muffler with dual tips out the side in front of the rear tire like the Lightning. I absolutely love the sound! I have heard many setups and had Magnaflow and Flowmaster and by far I prefer the Ravin for its deep rumble!

Check out Midas or go to www.goravin.com and order it online and take it to any muffler shop.

Check out my gallery for pics, I will be getting some sound clips and vidoes of the sound soon!

Looks sweet Bullitt, I love the location on yours. I wanted to do that to, but I dont think it looks good with side steps. Still wondering if I should take them off and do it like yours

Well I had my Ravin on my 2002 Sport Trac which has the 4.0 V-6. I liked it quite a bit, but it still had a little too much drone for me on long trips. I think on this truck it would better due to better sound insulation.

Well I probably have the longest tips for this application. It was a tight fit and everyone told me I couldnt do it. They are 24"x2.5"x3.5". You would be better off runing 18" long with 2.5" inlet and 3.5" outlet. The long tips do look cool though! Plus I got mine in the black chrome.

As to running boards, I am debating the use of them. I will need them once I lift the truck for sure, but with the side exhaust, it limits what I can use. If I had put the exit a little farther back, I could have ran any running boards (except full length).

If you want, email me at dacab@msn.com and I can email you some pics of that exhaust location with some different running boards. I have a few.

Sweet! That will sound awesome with the Ravins! Which muffler are you going with, the Z33 or Z55? I would suggest the Z33!

Make sure we get some pics when it is done!
