22" Wheels

I got a great line on some 22" wheels for my 2wd SCrew and I'm wondering if anyone has 22's on their truck.

Thanks,

I am going with 24s soon. I have a buddy here that had 26s on his 04. I liked that the look of the truck so much I bought mine and wanted to go with 26s too but the fricken tires are so expensive (about $1k EACH...thats just the tires not tires and rims) its just not worth it. I can get a sweet set of 24s tires and rims for what just the 26in tires cost...so I guess I will settle for them.

Here are some pics of a FX4 Screw on 24s:

Friend smashed it into a light pole at 65mph when I was a passenger. We were all asleep. I had to be cut out. Truck was clearly totaled and the rims were badly damaged. Oh well, we got an 04 out of the deal.

Wink 22" wheels

I put 22's on my new r/c xlt 2wd when it had 500 miles on it. I really agonized over going with 20's but went with the 22's due to the fact that the body of the truck is so tall. I have Eagle Alloy 026 and Nitto nt-404 285-45-22 tires. Absolutely no clearance problems and they look great. I am waiting for the Eibach rear leafs to drop the truck 2.5" in the rear.

Looks nice!

Vpat, do you have any pics? Does that spam pic mean that you think i'm spamming the board? I'm not. I'm new. Just got my truck about a month ago. I love it. I won't post any info about my wheels unless someone asks after I get the pics up here.

22's look very natural on that truckk, I think. How is the ride? any bumpier? and vibration or breaking distance changes? I'm going to anodize my wheels gunmetal gray raw from the factory, so they won't be the "cali bling bling"... but it's true, they are everywhere.

I can't even imagine 24's or 26's!!!

Jimbo5o ... is that standard height?

Jimbo5o, your truck looks stock height still. did you pull it down any after putting 22's on it? what size are your tires? 305/45/22?

Burly and RamSS/T

Here's a pic of the truck lowered with the McGaughy's lowering kit.
I removed the kit about a week after installing it and it is now lowered in the rear with Ground Force shackles. Another member on this board, FazMan, bought the kit and has it installed on his Screw.

The pic that RamSS/T posted is the stock height, I don't have any current pics with just the rear lowered

I think the truck has a really muscular look that I feel was lost with the lowering kit.
