Blazing Yellow gets 1 5/8" spacer & steps

I had the Autospring 1 5/8" spacer installed this morning along with the XLT platform steps I purchased from Ebay.

After the Autospring spacer, the rear is 37 1/4" and the front measures 37". The truck is sitting perfectly level. I paid $ 225.00 for the labor, front end alignment and having my tires flipped so the blackwalls are showing.

It is time for some new tires. The originals are looking very small now! I think I want some Terra Grapplers in 295/70/17.

that looks fantastic. Amazing how raising the front end of a truck a couple inches can give it so much prowess. I have a 2.5 inch spacer on order for my Screw 2x4, and also doing a 2 inch block in the rear, mostly to compensate for sag when towing, but also to give it the FX4 look. Getting my 265/70/17 BFG AT KO's tomorrow, cant hardly wait.

so was your alignment off that much after the spacer lift?

also, what's your impression on the ride quality since the lift?

Your truck looks good leveled out.
I got the 1 5/8” Autospring too and the rear sits 1” higher than the front on mine but it looks real close to level.

Thanks for all the great feedback. The ride quality has not changed whatsoever. It rides just exactly as it did before the spacer.

As far as the alignment, I'm not that familiar with all the settings but I think the toe was the only thing out. I could be wrong, but it only took a few minutes to correct. It seemed to take longer to put the sensors on the wheels than it did to make the corrections. The software on the alignment machine only went to the 2003 F150, so we had to wait on a local Ford dealer to send the specs for the 04 trucks. Also, when I took delivery of the truck the steering wheel was off center just slightly and they corrected that for me.

I have a funny feeling I will be at discount tire later today. My wife said the lift looks great but your tires look small. I'll take that as an OK to get some Terra Grapplers!
