so I get this call.....

from the service manger. He and the Ford engineer COULD NOT fix my vibe problem after rearend replacement, driveshaft, wheels, aluminum wheels, michelin's etc. Ok, local for service rep stops in and all of a sudden my service manager is saying that the problem is now half of what it was and is asking permission to permanently change my chrome wheels to aluminum. This is curious to me as when they tested it with aluminum wheels and michelin tires it didn't help. I tell they guy to go ahead and TEST it but that I will not settle for aluminum and that I want chrome wheels. Then he starts saying that if the vibration were 80-90% gone it would have bo be a characteristic of the truck. This is where I say he is full of **** and that these trucks don't have a charateristic shake. I call the sales manager today trying to get the reps number as no one will give it to me and he says his does not have a shake and promises to help me. Ok, enough bull, is it time to DSB the truck and say the hell with FORD altogether? I was hoping to come to a comprimise with them but wtf can I do?

Do you currently have posession of your truck or does the dealer still have it?
