Talking Check out my loaner

Took my truck over to my dealer this morning to get a noise checked out in the driveline and the service was closed. So my awsome sales man hooks me up with this 05 f150, red even.

Had 5 miles when i left with it.....Now thats a good dealer.

Good for you 04 Red...
It's always nice to drive a brand new vehicle, especially an F150.
Unfortunaely, your nice loaner is the "exception to the rule".

Great people. I have bought from them since 96.

COFX4,

I hear you on the taurus not being the fx4. Its hard getting used to an xl from a lariat but Im so happy I got a truck to drive instead of a metro or escort wagon.

Wow, that new black plastic piece above the bumper looks horrid. I see a few minor changes in the 05, like the chrome bumper, no chrome piece around grill, ugly black piece. But I guess since everyone here loves Fords as much as I do, if not more, you have already spotted those. That is a great dealer though to give you a brand new truck like that. Can they even sell it as new anymore? Or would they keep that to use as a loaner?

Im not sure if the xl model had the cupholder molded in the door like the lariats for 2004 but this one does'nt for 05.

And that black bumper and grill is fugly to the max.

I am guessing it will still be sold as new, since the warranty would start with the mileage on the truck plus 36,000? And rest assured they will get it back washed and prob waxed too.

What engine is in that thing? As for all the black stuff it could be there cause it may be a work series truck.
