Just a little info for those with the vibe. The dealer replaced my whole rearend and now the vibe is gone. I dont know if it is going to stay gone but its fixed for now.

 

dealer replaced my rearend for a "whine" sound...i never had the vibration and hope i dont get it with the new rear..for now theres no whine or vibe ill keep fingers x's....said they were only gunna replace the ring and pinion but when it wasent done that day and i called to find out why they told me they were replacing the whole thing..

 

Good for you, bad for me. Whole rearend replacement didn't do a damn thing for me. Now FORD is wanting to put aluminum wheels on it. Funny thing, before the even tried it out they asked me if I wanted one for my spare too. I said to stick to the chrome.
