I have read through the archives on the subject of the dreaded "door chime". Yet my problem is that the chime goes on as soon as I open the driver side door (without the key in the ignition). I checked to see if any of the interior lights were in the on position,-nothing there. Does anyone have any idea or suggestions? Thanks, blkjakdlx

 

Your interior lights may go off, but the cargo light overlooking the bed stays on for about 20 seconds after the door is opened and closed.

are you talking about as your leaving the cab or as your entering?
could be that it's telling you your door is ajar chech that on the info screen, ( that is of course is your talking about exiting the cab...... )

 

I'm talking about entering the truck. As soon as I open the door, I hear the chime.
