Brake Dust Shields - - -

Got my Moss Motors catalog yesterday and saw brake dust shields in there. Does anyone know if they reduce the brake dust enough to be worth the investment? Do they cause any possible harm to the brakes?

I wasn't sure if they actually improved anything at all, and wanted to know if anyone may have tried them. Thanks!!!

From what I have heard they do a good job on the dust and most claim that they are vented enough, but I'm waiting to talk to my dealer about them when mine goes in next. Damn I'm sick of the dust.

Have them on myself...

... and that was the best $72 I've spent. They work as advertised. I put them on the fronts and rears in about 20 minutes. Be sure to align the air holes with the wheel openings... the instructions are not real clear about that point.

Dust shields rock. They are directional for cooling, so pay attention when installing them.

I gotta get mine ordered before winter...

Kleen Wheels

I have them on all four wheels. They keep my wheels clean. As for safety, etc., they are found on several high end luxuary cars, including some Lincolns. A set of four is around $75. You could just replace your brake pads, I guess.

I think they are worth it......................
