Eagle 187 or 178 pictures?

I am looking for some pictures of the Eagle 187 and 178 on our F150s. I like both wheels and cannot make up my mind. I also think that the offset may make the wheels stick out. Does anyone think they stick out too far? Will they throw dirt and rocks on the side of the truck? I will probably go with the 18x9.

Nice Truck I see that they do stick out a bit. Do you have any problems with rooster tails or dirt on the sides?

I believe the bottom wheel is only available in 18x9. I am pretty sure both wheels have 5 inches of backspacing, which is pretty close to perfect for the 04-05 F-150's. Also, keep this in mind if you see these wheels on a lifted truck. Both Pro Comp's and Fabtech's lift for the new F-150's increase the trucks front track width by a couple of inches. This will make any front wheels "stick out" more.

I just had the Eagle 178s (18x9) put on yesterday. With Nitto Terra Grappler 325/60R18s, the tires stick out but look big and beefy. Perfect! They are even with the Ford bright tubular running boards when looking from the front.

I'll post pics tonight!

Beaver,

what size BF tires do you have? And how loud are they, do they rub at all?

Those are Nitto Terra Grapplers, 325/60/18 (33").

They aren't loud at all. I can hear a slight hum around 50MPH, but it actually sounds cool! Check my gallery - I have a pic of how close they come to rubbing. I'll probably trim a bit off the wheel lip molding to make sure they don't catch. It won't be noticable from the outside.

18x9 Eagle 178 on 355/65/18 Terra Grapplers

Here is a pic of my newly mounted wheels/tires.

If you are in the Dallas area, I can get you a competitive price on a set. I sell Truck and Auto Accessories as a side business, and can probably save you some cash.

T thought the 187 only came in 17". I think I would get 17" anyways, looks better with more rubber on them

Yep they have 18's. I was considering 17s for a few reasons mostly cheaper rubber. But since I had perfectly good 18 inch tires I decided to stick with them for a while. Im sure they will look just as good
