dash cleaning

Just wandering what you guys use to clean the dash with? I've tried three different cleaners and they all leave a hazzy finish on the black and carbon fiber.

I use "ProTech All-In-One" UV Protective spray. It doesnt leave a haze and it also protechs really well! I have the black interior FX4, so I had the problem with the haze on everything else I used. But this stuff works!

I just use a cotton towel that has been dipped in hot water, then wrung out. I use Plexus on the clear plastic over the instrument cluster. I also use a Dash Duster to keep the dust off in between interior cleanings.

Thanks alot, I've never seen pro tec around here but I'll look on the web and see if I can order some. I like the water idea to (it's cheap) The black really looks good when its not hazy.

Check Wally World for the Protech, they have it out here. Maybe they do where you are too!

I second that, but use microfiber towels

I keep a 'Swiffer Duster' in my center storage. Whip it out (the Swiffer) and in 20 seconds you have a dustless dash. It rocks.

What's the advantage of microfiber vs a cotton towel? Lint?

Yup. No lint with MF (or a swiffer).

Does the swiffer use any chemicals or is it just water?

No chems, no water. Just a dry duster.

Just because he uses a swiffer doesn't make him any less of a man. It's the french maid outfit that he wears while using it that does that!
