Question Vibrating truck

Ok, I’ve read almost all the posts about people and their vibrating trucks and I’m a bit confused. My truck vibrates, but not at any particular speed. It vibrates the same @ 35 mph and @ 75 mph. (The steering wheel vibrates, the pedals vibrate, even the passenger side seat vibrates.) Now, I’m not talking about a massive, “chainsaw” vibrating (like a truck that needs a seriously alignment job), just enough to be more than annoying, especially after spending $22k on a new truck that only has 2500 miles on it. I’m assuming that this isn’t related to everyone else’s vibrating issues because everyone else complains about vibrations only at certain speeds. (Or am I understanding that wrong)

Also, sitting at idle, the engine idles rough. (It hasn’t stalled or anything just shakes the truck a bit)

What is making my truck vibrate like that?

Any ideas/thoughts???

I believe there is different types of "vibration". There is the harmonic/rotational vibration at different speed ranges. Then there is the steering wheel nibble where the steering wheel shakes back and forth and there is a "harshness" in the steering and the ride seems kind of rough.

I would take your truck to the dealer and have them take a look. That way everything is documented with your dealer especially if you have to take measures that would require a worst case scenerio such as the DSB.

It seems to me unless it is the tires all that TSB work is waste of time, It was on my truck. But I guess you have ride out the process.

Good Luck

Did you test drive the truck a bit before closing the deal?
surely you must have noticed something while you did that.... do you believe the dealer modified the truck after the sale? Good luck...GG

I had "steering wheel nibble" and "beshake". Steering wheel nibble was solved by a tire rotation. The bedshake has now cost me two full weeks, 14 days no the 10 day working week, without my truck because I need a new rear axle. My advice is to get it in the shop and hold on. In my experience Ford is incapable of fixing these trucks and you won't be happy with what is done to it.
