Bed shakes with every bump

Does everyone's bed shake violently with every bumo in the road. I was wondering why the truck vibrated with every bump and noticed the bed in my mirrors. No other truck I have owned had so much movement in the bed (seperate from the rest of the truck). Is this normal or is something crazy going on with my truck.

Just throw a few hundred pounds in the bed to hold that sucker down.

Seriously though, if you think its abnormal, let the dealer check it out. Personally I wouldnt be worried about it if it didnt affect the ride.

I am dropping it off at my dealer tomorrow, but wanted to see if anyoneone else saw their bed shake. Figured I could go in and say "it is a common problem" or "no one else has that problem". I definately effects the ride (vibrates the truck) and my bedxtender rattles like my grandmother's teeth on a cold day!

I looked at mine to night going over some nasty whoops in the road and no.....its pretty good. I would have to say the same as txcountryboy....take it to the dealer and see what they have to say.

My bed does the exact same thing. Not when I hit whoops in the road but the sharper smaller bumps really make the bed shake.

When they moved the shock's outboard of the frame this is driving up more on the rail's then earlier f150's . Thus driving bed making it look like it's shaking . There is no fix since bed is bolted down right to the frame. Mine does the CHA CHA alot on bumpier roads. When i covered it with the LoRider hard cover it hide's alot off it so it looks better in the mirror's not as much shake. But the other ford employee's see it when they are behind me. Funny some say there's don't shake at all' Maybe the valve in the shock is bad and not absorbing the road conditions but magnifing them ???? Any way i learned to live with this one had mine 5 months now. I wouldn't give up the smooth ride to fix bed shake. Oh and donaldpaul welcome to the forum

I hardly ever drive while sitting in the bed, so it doesn't bother me.

Everyone's shakes. You have a ludicrously stiff frame, and sitting on top you have a been with more side sheet metal than ever before, what did you expect?! Its normal, stop looking for pete's sake!!

Or, tear apart your bed and reinforce it with an extra 200 lbs of metal framing.
