steering damper

any of you lifted guys running a steering damper to take out the shake of the wheel? the only one I could find is fabtech w/ dual shock. I was told its the only one out there too. so taking her in on monday to have that done also finally the procomp coilovers for the 4x2 are out so getting those put on to.

I'm not running a steering damper yet and I don't know of anyone who is. Let me know how it works out because I would be interested. The steering shake doesn't really bother me at all but I just like the way the steering stabalizers look. Where did you find it?

the shop here in san diego where I had my lift done told me about it. I guess its all black with white shocks and I'm sure theysay fabtech on them but no big deal to me. the shake is not that bad so its more for the look same as the coilovers i'm sure I'll let you know how it turns out

I asked the counter jockey at 4 wheel parts wholesalers here in Dallas, Texas about a steering stabilizer and he told me that because of the new front ends on these trucks, there wasn't one made for it and it would make the nibble worse. Didn't sound right to me but he's the expert... right?
