I have a 2004 F150 w/ 5.4L V8. I've been waiting for the Air Force 1 intake. Anyone know if it is available yet? Anyone got it? How do you like it?

 

Thats a negative...you can be sure you'll know when its available...it will be posted on here immediately...I'm waiting too......

 

I spoke to the people at troyer the other day and they said that they are testing it right now and should have it available in 2-3 weeks.

Then my question is AIRAID 13 hp improvement no box does that matter, looks like this one ?? hp improvement doesn't come with a box either, VOLANT ads 18 hp improvement.

What has everyone seen for improvement with the one they purchased. I am looking at the VOLANT right now but trying to get more info on the AIRFORCE 1, don't know if I like the AIRAID look.

4.6 liter owners can get an AirForce One intake. I have one and love it to death. Noticed hardly any gains from my exhaust upgrade until I put the intake on; now she really hauls butt. The rpm range where it used to bog down is now where it starts taking off. Sound is great; only a high pitched whistling when you stomp on it. With the windows up, you can't hear it unless you know what your are listening for. But then again, the 5.4 is a completely different motor design, so what sounds fine in a 4.6 may be different in the 5.4 version when it starts shipping.

 

AIRAID offers the same box encloser as the Airforce 1 intake. It seals off from the rest of the engine compartment just like the Airforce 1.

This may help but i'm not sure if this is what your asking. They are not making a different one for the 2005. The air force 1 intake is not being sold by companies yet, they are taking pre-orders and shipping them when they are ready for sale. Troyer Performance for example, is testing them now and getting all the information/data on them prior to putting them out. Right now you can order from them and they will ship them out when all testing is done. I think a delay in the airforce1 was due to the MAF?!?

As for you link, maybe they are selling them. But chances are, you'd probably order it and then call them a week later wanting to know where your intake is. THEN, they would finally tell you they are on order.

I wander if troyer is testing it are they doing dynos on it I would be greatly interested in seeing the dyno results and performence results on it. someone should call them and see if they are doing this. of coarce they are probably tired of all the people calling pestering them for this intake. cant wait to see the performance of this intake.

I have an AF1 on order for my 5.4 with Troyer. Last week I was told they hope to ship by mid Nov.
