Audiophile/stereo question
Audiophile/stereo question
What is the difference between the standard stereo and the audiophile. I know there are differences in the head unit, but are there differences in the speakers and the rest of the system?
Adding to what Dzervit said, if you arent familiar with "component" speakers it means there are 2 speakers in the front doors, a mid-range speaker and then a seperate tweeter...stock speakers would have the mid-range and tweeter in the same speaker...sounds really good, its worth the extra 600 for the 6 disc changer and the speaker upgrades....i do wish there would have been an option for the 1000watt system the new mustang has offered......
Not to mention, you can set the speakers to different settings for when it's just you or when you have a full truck. I really like that feature.
Oh and the vibrating rearview mirror effect when you really have it cranked up.

If you hit the menu button a few times it will show either "Driver's Seat" or "All Seats." Basically what it does on Driver's Seat is shoot the sound of all the speakers right at the driver's seat giving you a way better sound than if you had it set to All Seats. Even when I get people in the truck though, I don't change it to suit them.
