Lightbulb mirror turn signals

Driving my truck the other night and was thinking of a way to have the orange turn sigal lights on the mirror constantly stay lit. I don't think they would be too bright to blind you seeing anything in the mirror. Just thought they would look kinda cool, something like the superduty mirrors? Any ideas on how to do this? thanks

Ok, I bite... why?! Your taking away a safety feature, I don't get it. The SD lights are on the side of the mirror, right?

I'd imagine you'd have to cut the hotlines going to them and put in a jumper tapping into the 12v hot powering the parking lights. But I agree, I don't think it would be a good idea. Ever get into an accident, it could be an excuse for some idiot to sue you because they were mislead by your modified turn signals.

Has anybody ever tinkered with changing the colors of them? Are they using amber LEDs or is it an amber (for lack of a better term) lens? I really liked the arrow on the glass better, but if the strip on the bottom of the mirror was say red, it may flow better.

I spray painted my driver side black because it distracted me when making a right.

How could the driver side distract you when making a right? Wouldn't that be when making a left?

Get some green contact paper & stick it over it. Yellow+Green = Blue, right?! Should be a $2 mod. Hmmmm... blue... I might even do that!
