Is Ford planning on inventing the perfect tire? Because that is the only way other than redesigning the rack and pinion unit that this stupid steering wheel shimmy problem will be solved. The current setup is way too sensitive to tire/ road surface imperfections. I have read on a previous post that Ford will announce something on Oct 18. about a "fix" for this problem I hope they do somthing because this problem is really driving me crazy.
