Just installed a magnaflow..awesome

I just installed a magnaflow muffler and chrome tip...I highly recommend it...sounds just right and I can feel a power improvement big time!

I got a Magnaflow and I like it, sounds good. I didn’t notice a power gain though.

can anybody get a sound clip of this exhaust? I've heard many good things about magnaflow.

I didn’t notice a power gain. There probably was but I couldn’t notice a seat of the pants gain. Magnaflow claims a +19.5 peak hp gain. Here’s a link to the page that says that and a pic of the Magnaflow I installed.

19.5 hp gain, but then again that is with a '96 chevy suburban 7.4L V8!!....... and ofcourse all vehicles are different. The bigger the engine, tends to mean more power increase also.

jp, you have any other performance add-ons to your truck aside from the exhaust?

Most times you won't notice a performance gain from a cat-back exhaust unless you upgrade the intake as well. Don't matter how well it can exhale if it can't inhale better. When I put my flowmaster on, i didn't notice nothing except the sound. last week when I put my AF1 intake on, got the bennefits from both at the same time and it is a HUGE difference, especially once the RPM's start coming up.
