More pics

Front and rear Husky mud guards

Kleen Wheels brake dust covers (I just couldnt take looking at that dust any longer) TIP: The directions say confirm direction of arrow on back of cover with direction of rotation, but the directions don't mention the holes ARE specific so the cover's vents are not behind the spokes. Try every hole combination before installing so vents are between spokes and get air for cooling. Unless you want them covered!

I also got in my first full wax job using Meguiars Gold and a orbital buff afterwards.....and 15 minutes later it rained, so no pics of the wax job!!!! Nice water beads though

hey nice truck. I like the style, color, mud flaps, vents, and.... well I like your truck.

I wish I had your wheels, though.

SnakeCharmer, how long have you had the kleen dust shields on? Do they do a good job of keeping the wheels free of brake dust?

I just installed them today so cant tell for sure yet, but they fit snug against the inside of the wheels so there isnt anyway for the dust to spread to the outside. From what I hear they work real well.

truck looks good. I'm thinking about those kleen dust shields myself. Anyway you could get a side view pic of the the whole truck? Curious to how the rims look(dust shield) straight on from a distance.

So far the covers are working as advertised after a couple hundred miles of city traffic. I’ll work on a side shot with the covers but may take me a day.

Here ya go. truck is long so that's as close as I could get and fit it all in. Cant really see the covers from here but up close they dont look bad. Met a friend yesterday and it was his first time seeing the truck and he noticed the covers right away only because he knew what they were for.

TxSnakeCharmer,

You still have the dust shields on?

How have they been working out?

Any problem the brakes getting hot?

I am thinking of getting them but can't find them for my rims, email them and asked them if they were paintable so if I do get them I can paint the AZ BG.

Thanks for digging this one up Chris...

I'm interested in hearing how they're faring as well as the brake dust is exceedingly bad on mine as well...

Anyone else have any insight on the clean wheels?

Clean wheels are a completely SAFE and economical way of greatly reducing the dust. It's not a new product, and they are installed on about a bajillion vehicles.

Rock - you may have to wait a bit, since each cover is made for a specific wheel, not sure if the covers for the KRs are availbe yet.

"Kleen Wheels are manufactured of single-piece construction aircraft grade aluminum, coated with a life-time matte black finish." 05 150 KR, if you can't paint them, you could try ALMOND (http://kleenwheelsincolor.com/kwic.htm). But, what are the odds it would be a close enough match!?

Lucky for me ... I only have to match black. I may be getting these for Xmas. I think the colored ones are an additional $90-100 ... for a full 4pc set. If and when I buy, I'll probably go through http://www.FlagDownAuto.com (1-800-452-2770).

I'm sorry, but IMHO why in the world would you try to match any color behind your wheels? I looked at the PT Cruiser picture in the link and thought it looked awful. Plus you get to spend another $90 for color!!

The color behind the wheel is always black!! Unless you are driving a sports car with Brembo brakes, then you see the red disc brake cover which looks cool.

I would bet that if you installed normal black Kleen Shields, nobody would even notice.
