Need some Imput on Daystar Lift
My dad bought me the daystar for my birthday. I am torn as to whether or not I should install it. My plan is to put bigger wheels and tires on the truck. But right now I can't afford that stuff. I know the lift would look really good with the bigger wheels and tires, but what about the stock wheels and tires? I have the upgrade, but I'm still worried about it. I've seen some pictures, but I just would like some imput from those who have the daystar and those who don't want it. My main two concerns are:
1. Will the ride quality be effected? If so, how bad is it?
2. How's it going to look with stock wheels and tires.
Oh yeah... and can you still fit through car washes?
Thanks.

1. I didn't notice a difference in ride quality at all except for when I go over speed bumps. Seems to be a little stiffer. ( maybe because it's already compressed a bit)
2. Looks awesome with the stock wheels and rims. Just gets rid of the ugly *** rake the stockers have.
3. It's only 2.5". Depends on how tall the car wash is that you go to. My stock truck can't fit in ANY of the underground parking where I live. So it wasn't a worry for me at all.
Just install it. You'll be happy that you did. Just be prepared to get an alignment afterwards because you'll have bad OUT TOE.
