Unhappy Need a new grille

I just hit a deer on the way to work this a.m. and took out my grille. Luckily no other damage. I was wondering if anyone knows of an aftermarket grille that might look better than the original. I have a 1 mo old Black STX SCab (not heritage).

jr105,

Was just the center part of your grill damaged, or was the surround also damaged? Most of the aftermarket grills retain the factory surround and frame.

There are a bunch of nice aftermarket grills out there, especially a lot of billet choices. I'm not big on billet grills, myself, so I recently installed a Grillcraft mesh grill:

(Yes dzervit, the license plate bracket was removed after this picture was taken... )

Good luck and watch out for those deer!

The whole plastic frame was broken. I'll be checking out some accessories web sites later to see what I can come up with. Thanks.

I hit the deer doing about 45 mph and he just shook his head, got up, and limped into the woods. It was 4 a.m. and dark so I couldn't see where he went, but you know he associates headlights with pain now.
My truck didn't do as well. When I got home I took a closer look at it and there was alot more damage than I first thought. I just got an estimate of $2107.

$2107 doesnt sound too bad, at a dealer body shop that probably includes the new grill cost, the cost of painting it to match, and removing any deer hair from your condensor. The rest is labor and supplies.
