Talking Retrax

Just got Retrax Bed cover on the truck. Absolutely love it. Ordered Pace Edwards Jack Rabbit in August and Still on back order. After checking liked quality of Retrax much better. So cancelled Jack Rabbit and ordered Retrax. Check out my gallery for photos!

FX4GIRL,

Good call on the Retrax. I've had mine installed since last November and have been very happy with it.
Also a good call on the Blazing Yellow. If I could have a second F150, that's the color I'd want.

How are things in Missouri? My Mom is from Crawford County (as a matter of fact, my parents are visiting family there now).

Cold and Rainy today. But the saying goes if you don't like the weather in Missouri just wait 10 minutes.

I Love the Blazing Yellow also. Thanks.

Ahhh, would you go in do that for. Your going to put the bug back in my ear to get a retrax.

Looks great! Nice and clean looking!

BTW, I thought the line-x sticker they tried putting on my truck after I got it done was big. Your garage do them?

How durable are the tops of those Retrax covers? For example, my cousin's Fold-A-Cover looks like it can be sat on. Not that I want to do that. But the Retrax looks like if you put any weight on the top of it, it will fall right through. Or it can get damaged easily if something falls on top of it.

Made of polycarbonate. The brochure they sent me has a woman laying on the top of it. Haven't tried myself.

I too have a Retrax and love it. Couple points:
- It's a scratchable surface, so you while you can put things on it, don't slide em around... Retrax warns you about this and advises you should treat it like the hood of your truck. Good advice.
- It can handle weight. This past May we got a late and very unexpected wet snowfall overnight, must have been 1.5 feet of the wetest, heavest snow you ever seen (many a roof collapsed in town) and it held up fine. They "say" @ 150lbs max, but this snow load was way beyond that...

Highly recommended!
