Totally depends on your use for them. I would say the BFG or Procomp all terrains are a great tire on and off the road. Do a search you will find lots of good info on this.

What kind of tire do you want? Mud terrian, all terrian, street??
For and all terrian, I'd suggest the BFG AT KO's, Nitto Terra Grappler, Toyo Open Country AT or Bridgestone Dueler AT.
For a mud terrian, I'd suggest the BFG MT KM, Goodyear Wrangler MTR or Toyo Open Country MT.

Tires?

Round ones, black, with air in them preferably.

All my driving is highway miles on road, and so far I'm liking the wimpy BFGs I've got on the truck now. Whenever I kill those off, I'm going with Michelins though.

I'd go with General Grabbers or Firestone Wilderness AT's.

Yes I'm kidding.

Bridgestone Dueler A/T revo. Great tire, looks great too. Fairly aggressive for a A/T tire, but quiet. Wish they made them for tehe 18" FX4...
