Autospring Lift Installation?

I have tried to contact Autospring twice about how to install their 2 inch lift kit on a 2004 XLT SCAB 4*2 along with what is the proper lift kit to get? Can anyone tell me what is involved in the lift installation or what kit to get (looks like there are 3 kits?)...I see they sell them on EBAY.
Thanks in advance.

If I was you, I would go with the smallest kit they offer. It is called the 2" kit. It is actually a 1 5/8" spacer that gives approx 2" of lift. From what I have read, it actually gives more lift on a 4x2, being closer to 3" than 2". It should make your truck level though, even still being a slight bit lower in the front (best look, IMO). Anyway, it is pretty simple to install. At least this is how I did it.
First, get the tires off. Then you are going to need to unbolt the sway bar mounts, and separate the upper ball joint (Usually will break loose with a few good hammer blows, try to avoid the pickle fork)

Then you can go the route I did, and pop the tie rod also. It makes for easier removal of the coil. You will then need to unbolt the coil, top and bottom, and remove.

Just bolt the spacer onto the top of the coil with the supplied hardware, put the coil back (may require prying down on the lower control arm) and then tighten the coil back in, reconnect the tie rod, sway bar link, and upper control arm. Then just repeat for the other side. It is very easy, and shouldn't take more than 2 hours (took me an hour full install both sides).

Anyway, I hope this helped. If you wanna see the difference it made on my 4x4 FX4, Click the pic in my gallery. Good luck!!!

Captain as for the right lift you need to measure the difference between you rear and front. On my FX4 i went with the 2.5" lift . As Roboots gave some great directions they will come in the kit. Roboots is more definitive though. if you can get the use of a impact it will go a little easier but hand wrenching isn't to bad. I leveled off the rocker panels but some do wheel well. after alignment mine is the same frt and rr. But also as Roboots said just go with the 2" lift you will be happy at the new look .
