Question Daystar install?

Well I have decided to get the daystar install and put it in myself cause I have a friend at a local body shop offering to compress the springs for me for free. The question I have is that when I read the directions it sounds like they are compressing the springs before unbolting them from the truck but everything I read on here sounds like you unbolt the springs and then compress them. So which is it?

Unbolt them first. You'll need a spring compressor to compress them which is impossible while they are still installed.

I did my own install as well, just ask if you have any other questions.
