Superchips 1714 Hows yours set up?
Just got my superchips and loaded the high performance settings which worked really well. I have 5.4 lariat 4x4 with 3.55, stock wheels and tyres, airaid and magnaflow cat back exhaust. I installed it and did a 300 mile trip which I do regular and got an extra 1.5 mpg travelling at 90mph (84mph on gps), could this be because I have the wrong tyre size set? Anyhow does anyone else have a similar setup and what prog. options are you using?
Any advice would be welcome.

I've got the high performance tune installed in mine. Using it with 93 octane gas. All options for the tune are the SuperChips performance defaults except for the 1-2 shift pressure. I lowered that a couple notches because the shift was very hard ... it practically was giving me whiplash. The only other things I changed were raising the speed limiter and rev limiter.
I have mine set the way it came from SuperChips, and changed the tire height. The shifts took a bit to get used to, but its only real firm when you mash the pedal. Although I got the truck in November, it feels like a totally different vehicle. The newness is back and I can't stop offering to drive everywhere!
i have the high perf tune (91-93)on mine aswell and changed all shift press. to stock +20 lbs... and stock +5 mph on 1-2..stock +10 mph on 2-3 and 3-4...i have ls 3.73 gears and also set tire size at 31'' for my stock 18'' 275 BFG's.....truck runs great and the shifts under normal acceleration are smooth but firm...at w.o.t. the shifts do hit hard...i have not noticed any belt slippage and my speedo is right on with the gps now...
I wonder why my speedo's out as I've set my tyre to 31",GPS can't be wrong can it? I will try some new settings and see what sort of results I get.

I take it that when the super tuner reads your program it knows what came stock, like tire size and gear in rear end. The edit is for changes if you put on larger tires and different gear ratio. But you can change shift pattern and transmission pressures with edit.
I just bought an '04 Crewcab, FX4 and I think it is an awsome truck.
But, call me crazy, having just traded in my '03 Lightning - in the Lightning community we all stayed away from line pressure changes for shifts and the only way to go was a new valve body.
Are there no valve bodies available? Thus line pressure is the only route?
And has anyone dyno'd before and after the Super Chips tune. I am strongly thinking of going with a Predator tune with the FX4.
I was running with Diablo with my L.
Sorry for the highjack, just too many questions.
