need the green light (IROK)...

Ok...just before I do anything stupid, I need to check with the experts. I've just ordered some 20" helos, and I am fixing to go ahead and get the 36/13.5/20 Iroks. But before I do, I would like to know what yall think of the tires. Has anyone had any problems with this particular size? If so, what are they? Gracias muchos.

If you don't have some kind of lift (especially on the front end) they are gonna rub. What's your truck? 4x4 4x2?

I know a member at FTW (Telefonica) had problems with the 36x13.50-20 IROKs on his Super Duty. I believe that Interco had to replace a couple of his tires and then they wore out quickly. He wound up replacing them with Toyo's and is extremely happy with them.

I am planning on the same size IROK or Toyo M/T in a 37/1350/20.
Not completely sure, but I like the look of the IROK and the price. I was actually planning on getting the Helo 6 spoke. I know of one person who is running these tires with no problems using a 6inch Procomp lift. I plan on going Fabtech 6" with Dirt Logic coilovers for 7" total lift.

What lift are you using? Do you know what offset we need to run the IROK tires?

I was just talking with my truck shop and they said that the 20x10 Helo rim would rub with that tire, that I needed a 20x9 or 20x9.5. I plan on doing the 6inch fabtech and 1" dirt logic coilovers.

I have seen these tires on a 6inch lift before, but dont know how wide the rim was.

Any advice?

I looked at a couple of trucks that were runnin 20x9 no probs. Think I'm goin with that. Neways, the guy that I had talked to said with the 6" n coils on 20x9s, those 36s were runnin awesome, a little loud, but trucks were meant to be that way. And yes, I know the proper grammer is muchas gracias, pero me gusta jugar con la lengua de espanol. (I'm from S Texas, so I hear it all the time, hard not to learn it down here!) Pero usted esta correcto, necesito decir "muchas gracias, senor"

I have had no problems with my IROKs. No rubbing really except if I completely crank the wheel and its very slight and no damage to either the wheel well or tires. They are loud but you have to expect that with mud tires.

Well I am pretty sure that I am going with the IROKs. Right now I just like the price better. Going to do 20x10's hopefully I dont get any rub.

Anyone know what kinda mileage people get out of these with normal type driving? Also why is the lowed capacity so low on these tires? Its like 2650 which is over 1k less than most comparable tires. Is this something I need to worry about?

Mud Tires do not have the same load capacity as AT's.

What's the story with the dirt logic coilovers? Are they better than fabtech's stock coilovers? How much are they? Also, how much are you guys paying for your fabtech lift kits?

Thanks.

The Dirt Logic coilovers are the ones made for Fabtech and come serperately or with the kit. From what every truck shop has told me, they are made by Fox for Fabtech.
