New To Site

Another 2004 Ford owner here! Just dropping in to say hello!

I have only owned Ford trucks! I'm on my 6th one and it is the best one yet! I found this site early this year and was reading up on the new trucks, lotsa great info here!

I received my 4x2 screw in july and have had a great time with it so far, just like all my other Fords! Only thing to go bad is the fuel door problem but the dealership is taking care of it. Was going to post when I got the truck but then the old puter died! So now I have a new 04 truck & puter!

Looking forward to enjoying my truck and this site.....

Hey...I'm new to the forum as well. Just bought my truck mid-September. I'll try to post some pics tomorrow. Just got back from a little road trip of 187.5 miles, all highway and burned 9.95 gallons....18.84 mpg for 4 x 4 Supercrew....with only 1700 miles on it....heh...I'm all about it....oh did I mention that I go into an orgasmic comma every time I drive this rig....WOW what a nice truck....adios

HuntinFord, thats some great MPG!

I think I'm getting around 16mpg +/-.......depends how much of a lead foot I have..... I never really care about the mpg. I used to have lifted trucks with the monster tires and such, so mpg never came into play. It is what it is!

Gonna play, got to pay! At the pump!

I used to add so much stuff to my trucks....$$$$$$. I didn't do anything to my 94 but with my 04 I think I'm getting that itch back!

I to am a New Guy to this forum. A great site for information it seems. I just turned 1K on my 04 Scab 4x4, still waiting to break 14mpg. My only complaint is the geese that land in the pond behind my house are using it as a target for inflight dumps.
But hunting season starts soon and revenge will be mine in the end.

Bullitt4711,

Didn't I read in another post that you were 19 years old? How many cars/trucks have you been thru? It sounds like you go thru vehicles faster than I do.

Lol, I guess the I used the wrong word, I havent "owned" all of them, they have been either the familys (mom, dad and myself) vehicle or I have been making payments on them to my parents, as is the case with the 03 Screw that my friend totaled out and the 04 FX4 that I am currently paying my parents for. The 04 4x2 Lariat is the family truck now and I drive that mainly for groceries.

Lately our family has gone through vehicle pretty fast, I just traded my (actually mine) 01 Bullitt for the FX4 and am makeing payments on the rest to my parents. I was involed in the accident in my (was "leasing" from my parents) 03 Screw which was totaled. Previous to that I my vehicle was a 96 Toyota Avalon which was totaled in an accident in which I was hit head on. Because of this I made payments to my parents on the 03 Screw. Parents got our family an 04 Screw and now my 04 FX4.

Wow that was complicated. I lost myself somewhere in there, lol.
