Powerraid Spacer
Powerraid Spacer
I just ordered the Airraid intake today and was thinking, is there really any point to the intake spacer? I have heard most say they are useless and just add noise. Is this true? Are there no substantiation for the claims of more power? What is the theory behind them?
And if its just noise they add, is it "good" noise? I want my truck as loud and noisey as possible lol. When I need quiet, thats when I drive the stock Lariat. But my FX4, thats another story. BWAHAHAHAHA!
Thanks again!

all the spacer does is create a vortex that is suppose to help the air go in faster. This vortex is what creates the whistle sound. I agree that it's a waste of money. I haven't noticed any advantage to having it in. And the whistle is annoying but I only hear it at lower speeds when I'm taking off.
