Rear Sway Bar
Rear Sway Bar
Well after spending an hour trying to figure out how to mount the belltech bar, and a half hour on the phone with them, ive been told that if you have a flipped axle and did not use the belltech kit you cannot use the sway bar they use. i have a djm. i had the truck on the alignment rack and i know how belltech flip kits are built and there was no way there was that much of a difference. the bar is supposed to fit in front of the axle and connect via end links the the upper shock mounts. unless they move the axle back another 1-2 inches there is no way. the bar sat between my bump stops and the axle. i only have 2 inches to work with and that used all of that. no axle clearance. no way.

but after playing under the truck for a couple minutes i realized there is plenty of room on the rear side of the axle. i got some 2" square stock steel (3in would have been better) and welded it to the frame just in front of the bumper brackets. braced it underneath and drilled it for the end links. the sway fits nicely behind the axle, cleares everything and definitly made a difference in body roll.
ill post pics as soon as i can .
