Question New rearend for vibration fix?

Took my 04 Lariat screw to the dealer for the third for my 55-62mph vibration. The first two times they tried to road force balance the tires but that didnt work. I made it clear that I didnt want the truck back until it was fixed. Now the dealer has ordered a new rearend to fix the problem. Has anyone with the vibration problem had there rearend replaced? I would think they would have started with the driveshaft.

Do a search on vibrations here and on the FTE forum (For Truck Enthusiast). You'll find lots of stuff.

Trust me.....replacing the rear end will more than likely not address the issue. I went through all the steps of the TSB to address this issue and now I'm going to the DSB to have my truck replaced with one that HOPEFULLY doesn't vibrate.

A mechanic that just replaces the whole rearend is nothing but a parts changer! I had my rearend rebuilt ( new bearings, gears, and seals) That was the only thing that fixed my vibe that was the most noticeable at 58 and on tip in. Replacing the rear i think gives the same problem and i think it has to do with clearances.
