Diablo Predator Tuner for 04

I wonder how the new Diablo Predator compares with the Superchip 1714? Anyone tried it or have experience with it? How does it compare to the Superchip? I know it has alot more "user" adjustability, but which one is better? Powerwise... ???

Diablo is a quality product also. i would compare it to the SCT 9100 no the 1714.

you can get "tunes" customized for your truck and your mods with these types but you can't with the 1714... really won't use that unless you plan on doing some sort of forced induction and fuel mods.

From what I have been reading, it is very similar to the 9100 in tunability. But it also allows for custom tunes, say if you were to dyno tune it or something. Usefull for if you have a BUNCH of bolt ons, nitrious, or forced induction. For most though I dont see it being that important of a feature. Oh and supposedly Diablo has custom tunes for stuff on there website. Maybe this means to tune it for the usual bolt ons and get "more" power.

I might go with this, cause I would like to add a bit of N20 sometime in the future...

Good question. I dont know if they have a tune on it for that. Maybe they will offer a downloadable one. Going to research it.

throttle delay removal (Diablo)

Does anyone know if The diablo predator tuner removes the throttle response delay in the 5.4 L 3 v like the Superchips 1714 tuner does. i cannot find that info on the Diablo product specs.

From what I have read it has "throttle response" improvements. I would assume this is similar.
