Question questions on pricing......

Hi,

My dad is thinking about buying a new F150, and I'm trying to gather up all the latest info of what Ford is currently offering, like cash incentives, rebates, etc....It's been 4 years since I've looked into it myself, so I'm a little rusty....if anyone can point me in the right direction, I'd appreciate it.

thanks

If I recall correctly, both Kelly Blue Book and Edmunds have web sites that will give you that information.

I bought an F150 Sunday

The rebates are $2500.00
Plus $1500.00 if you finance through Ford.

I'm not sure, but I feel I paid to much.

Seems to me when they have the rebates they won't discount the truck as much.

Truck Window Sticker was $39870.00

Total I got off from MSRP including the rebates was $6235.00

This was after two days of ****ering with them. I think I should have got the truck for well under $32K. If ford is really kicking in 4K.

Anyway I like the truck so much I'm not going to loose too much sleep over it.

Forgot ,,, KBB and Edmunds do not show the extra $1500.00 rebate. Another dealer told me about it

Price I was able to negotiate recently was about $400 under invoice plus the $4000 rebate. My list was approx. $37,400 which they discounted to around $31,900 then took off the rebates which brought it in at $27,900 plus tax and tags. Hope this helps.

If the $1500 is for financing at the 6.9% rate then get it refinanced after the sale. If you can get into credit union, they are running about 4%. It's worth a call.

There are some threads that talk about the 3 month wait before refinancing but no one has stated they they were penalized for doing it early.

You will have to let us know what you get.

Geez, I didn't even get a kiss.

This was the third ford I bought from this dealer since 2000. Did good on the first two, but they have a whole new sales staff.

They will not be seeing me again.
