Unhappy Im a little bummed

I just sold my 2001 Screw and watched it drive away. I didnt think it would be that hard to see it go, but that was a darn good truck! I shouldnt feel this way I have my new FX4 sitting there, whats my problem??? I guess the new one just doesnt quite feal like its mine yet, I need to get under the hood and tear open my nuckles or something. Oh well just thought I would share.

Congrats on your new truck! What color did you go with? I just got a white w/DSG trim FX4 screw. Love it!!! I had an 03 previous, so I know how you feel.

Plus I traded my beloved car, an 01 Bullitt for the new FX4, and it really hurt to see it leave. Then that pain was just ground in today when I saw that someone had bought it all ready!!! lol I guess I am just sentimental.

Good luck with your new truck!

Thanks Bullitt, Its kind of funny I got the same color as my 01... Silver, so when ever people see it they say it looks just like the old one, other than the FX4 sticker. Obviously not truck people. I really do love the new truck in fact I order its first upgrade today, the 2" Autospring kit.

Dont feel bad about being sentimental, your not alone.

Let me know how you like the leveling springs. I plan on getting those for my 04 Lariat 4x2 Screw. Where did you order them?
Thanks!

From everything I have read the Autospring kit works very well and you dont need a spring compressor for the install and you retain the stock ride. I ordered it directly from Autospring on Monday and the guy said it would ship that day so it should be here soon. I will let you know how things go, Im looking foward to tinkering on the new beast.
Hey I was looking at your pics, what happened in that wreck.....that was the worst ive ever seen a truck smashed, were you hurt?

Well, I was in the passenger seat, which as you might be able to tell, was the worst place to be. My friend was driving my truck and fell asleep.

My injuries were minor considering the seriousness of the wreck. I came out with a level 3 sprain and some deep lacerations to the back of my hand. 16 stiches and I will have to wear this confounded brace on my leg for a bit. But I am very lucky! That crash is the reason for the new truck.
