F-150 build stoppage.

I saw that they stopped building the F-150's because of an engine problem. Can anyone tell me what happened and if they've fixed the problem?

Do you have a link to the story, or is this just a rumor?

Was posted on blueovalnews.com. They claim it is based on factual info. I got a buddy that works at the dearborn plant, I'll ask him tonight what's up.

Its not true. About a week ago or so, screwbuilder cleared it up. Apparently BlueOvalNews wrote that a couple weeks ago, and they just started building 05s the day before screwbuilder posted (05s werent being made when BlueOvalNews made that statement).

Stoppage?

I can tell you we have not stopped at all. We did start building the 2005's last Monday and are building about 400 per shift. I have never heard of a problem like that web site reported.

Blueovalnews is so anti-ford, it's not funny. I concider it a place to get unfounded rumors and if I want a joke, visit there forums.

Have you seen anything that has been changed on the 2005's to address any of the vibration issues?

screwbuilder,

My '05 Lariat SCREW 4x4 (all black, blk leather) should be on the assembly line as we speak! If you see her tell her I said hi!

(I'm sure I've ordered the ONLY black lariat 4x4 to be produced this year - should be easy to recognize. )

2005

bluestang67. my uncle retired from CSP about 5 yrs ago.

Jake01- no I haven't. I don't know what to tell you about the vibration. I know several people that own 2004's and not one of them has a vibration problem. It seems that the majority of the people on this board don't have it either. I know a lot of people do have it, but if it is not an inherant problem on all trucks then I don't know what they can do about it.

jdmclemore- I think I saw it today. lol

Kansas City, I think that's where my Aspen Green SCREW 4x4 is being built. I optioned that baby out with just about everything but a DVD player

Got a nice clean space out in my garage just waiting for my pride and joy

Wish I could see it being built,

Scott
