Took off the step bars(Pic)

I think the truck looks better without them,Whatcha think?I'de keep them on if it was a 4x4,But its not and I have full intensions of lowering it 2'' in the back,so I think It will look a lot better when lowered without them on.

heres the truck without them(bars)

FRANKS,

I think it's a good call, especially as your planning on lowering it. No reason to keep them on if you don't need them.

IMO, these trucks generally look sharper without running boards/step bars...but in they do offer some protection from from dings in parking lots (in addition to helping some people get in the truck - like my 5 and 7 year olds).

Thanks for the offer,But I'm a good 6-8 months away from getting some rims.First two things on my to do list are:
1. 30% Tints
2. 2'' Shackles
These two mods will give me the look I desire,Then I will jump into the Audio/Video system and then start worrying about which set of wheels I want to buy.I've been thinkin about the giovani attacks in 22'' but I may go with some 24's who knows.

I don't like the flat running boards. I do like the tubular type.

Excellent call to yank 'em. I didn't even get a truck with 'em.

Also, you'll love the tint. I had my front windows to match too. Once you get the tint & lower it that's gonna be 'big pimpin' baby!!
