Brought it in for service....

I have just under 6000 miles on my '04 SuperCrew and decided to have a few things looked at. First off, I need to thank all of you guys (and gals) on this forum for the AWESOME info that is posted. I kinda took notes of common "issues" mentioned and decided that maybe my truck had a couple of minor flaws.
I gotta give huge props to AutoWay Ford here in Bradenton, FL. I brought my truck in yesterday morning with a list of things I wanted looked at (slight steering wheel vibration at around 60mph, slight shudder when braking, acceleration seemed a little off at times, etc).
Man, they went to town on my truck! The service guys went way above and beyond, checking out everything and fixing tons of crap for me. I had dropped my bed extender and broke one of the plastic caps on the tube end....they replaced the entire bed extender under warranty. They reflashed the ECM w/ the latest code (bet my Superchip programmer won't work now!), replaced a tire that wasn't quite right, road force balanced all wheels/tires, rotated the tires, re-centered the steering wheel, replaced the 2 front rotors, and recharged the AC. Also, while it was in, I had an oil change, etc done (I paid for the pimp-daddy warranty where all maintenance is covered).
I understand that the truck is under warranty and I should expect such service, but these guys really went above and beyond. The customer service I received was absolutely incredible, plus they covered my rental car for 2 days (had to order in the tire/bed extender).
Just wanted to share my experience and publicly thank the folks at Autoway Ford here in Bradenton, FL.

That sounds like a good dealership experience. My Ford dealer treats me right too.

I'm impressed.

It sounds like they really went above and beyond expectations, regardless of what warranty you have. If your truck ever drops into fail-safe mode they may hand you the keys to a new '05

My dealer has been okay so far. I've only been in once for an oil change. They did wash off about 100# of mud that was under the truck, but the service took 1.5-2 hours.

Unfortunately, I have yet to have a good Ford service experience here in NJ. I am going to a different dealership this friday with a list of items that need to be addressed. I hope this time the experience will be worth bragging about.
