Superchips IN

Ok been watching and decided to bite bullitt and try it. Flash went with no trouble installed the standard program from superchips. I love the feel of it even on 87 tane, shifts feel great not to hard or to soft. Pushed truck to different RPM's to check out the feel. Slight difference on normal rpm's then at 2800 i felt it respond great so next one was 4400 and man puts you back a tad love it. Im going to push it to the limit tomorrow see where it falls off in power may have too make a manual adjustment or two. Don't know what the chips setting is on limiter but will find out when it kicks in . Hope the mileage gain is there when i stop playing around.

Make that two... did mine yesterday and the 87 program wakes the truck up so nicely even without any mods that I can't wait to try the Performance program when the Airaid, Borla, and pulleys go on. Had her out on the Garden State Parkway today and she was just as responsive as my '00 with the conventional throttle cable if not more so.

They should just come like this from the factory... or at least make it an option.

Hope the mileage gain is there when i stop playing around.
Heard that!

They are talking about the 1714 SuperChips Tuner you can program your truck with. You can adjust shift points with the tuner or take the SuperChips preset programing. You can adjust for tire size, gear ratio, Octane use, and a few other things.

It is the first thing I suggest people go out and buy if they want a simple easy modification to thier engines performance. Second would be an airintake system.

Troyer Performance gives an excellent discount to F150 online members just let them know your user name on here and you get a discount on the price of the 1714 if you are interested in purchasing one.

Is THAT what they are doing? When I got off there were big TOLL FREE signs over ther regular signs and everybody was directed to just go through... looks like they were refitting the booths. Guess they are going to make up for those freebies in short order.

It's been said to make sure that you CALL them when ordering to get the discount... but after looking at my invoice it looks like I got the discount ordering online, by identifying myself as a member here in the comments field on the order form. Absolutely the first thing to get if you want to unlock the true performance potential of these trucks!

sounds good... thanks for all the info guys! I'll look into it and definately go through Troyer Performance when i'm ready.

mastermix... as for the GSP. What they are doing is taking a few tolls on the parkway and charging only one way. For instance, the tolls on the parkway near 105exit, asbury toll i believe!?...... It's free southbound, 70c northbound. They think it will help on congestion. There's a toll way up north that is the opposite way as far as which direction is free.

again, thanks guys.

No problem! You will be quite pleased!

105 was the exit I talked about earlier. I guess we'll see how this works out. First lengthy trip for the truck up north on the GSP next weekend.

What's the difference between the 1714 and the superchip coming out at the end of the year (the 9000 or whatever it is)? Is it worth waiting for?
