Installed my Flowmaster American Thunder 17394 cat back (dual output side corners) system yesterday. I could stand to do a tiny bit of adjusting as the left tip seems to point at a slightly steeper angle than the right does. I hadn't slept in about 24 hours, and wanted to get it up and running as we were supposed to have rain all this weekend when I wanted to take my time on it.
drivers side outlet pipe is hidden very nicely by the spare tire.

well as far as too loud, one person's sweet sounding is another's obnoxiously loud. It's definately deep, definately loud. At startup, idle, maintaining speed, etc, sounds perfect; can only notice it inside the cap if you listen for it. Now when you push that gas pedal down, she roars pretty good. There's about a 200 rpm range down towards the low end where I get a resonant vibration, due mostly I believe to my fiberglass cap--it's a big enclosed air space that acts as an echo chamber. I'm going to try driving with the cap's windows open to see if it makes a difference. I couldn't live without the cap, but it does greatly amplify every noise the truck makes with or without the flowmaster. I'm thinking about putting a sheet of dynomat behind the trim panel on the back wall beneath the window. That's where all my outside noise seems to come from anyway. They don't call it American Thunder for nothing. Driver's side hanger is a pain to install, someone else mentioned getting a speed nut. Take their advice...
