Hey, how much coin does the remote setup cost? I'm interested in the 4" lift and would definitely want to do in in-cab setup.

I've seen the control kit listed for 169 plus shipping. Do it yourself.

ristuccia, how about a review of how the shocks are different, on smooth roads, bumpy roads, freeway, and offroad?
Pretty please?
Thanks
Chris

You and me both.

I would really like to see a write-up on these shocks however.

Does anyone really know how that in-cab adjuster works?

I have the Rancho 4" lift with the RSX9000 shocks.

On minimum setting of 1, it rides well on the street and is a little bumpy on the freeway. It is too soft for hard offroad use. I use setting 5 for that (goes to 9). Setting 9 will rattle your teeth loose.

Setting 5 will let you feel every pebble on the street. However it reduces body roll with a lift kit and gets better with the higher settings.

I don't have the in the cab adjustment but I may get one someday. It's just that I will probably go with Bilsteins when these wear out. Don't get me wrong these are good shocks but I don't like adjusting them alll the time for on and offroad use. I like the one size fits all concept.

I have used Edelbrock in the past with great results but I want to try all of the top 3 brands.

Goodluck

no the shocks have nothing to do with ride height, the adjustment is only for the firmness of the shock depending on what you are doing (offroading or street)

You are thinking of the new ones that just came out that range from 0" - 2.5" of ride height AND are adjustable. The p/n is RS99768. I called 4 wheelparts to get to see how much they cost but they still havent been able to get me a price...
